Using Google Translate for fun!

I got inspired by a youtube video which took a song and transformed it by putting it thrugh layers of google translate. I decided to try my hand at it and came out with some pretty hilarous stuff!

I chose to use Let's Go Fly a Kite from Mary Poppins because it is a classic song that almost everyone knows!

The original Lyrics...

With tuppence for paper and strings
You can have your own set of wings
With your feet on the ground
You're a bird in a flight
With your fist holding tight
To the string of your kite

Oh, oh, oh!
Let's go fly a kite
Up to the highest height!
Let's go fly a kite and send it soaring
Up through the atmosphere
Up where the air is clear
Oh, let's go fly a kite!

When you send it flyin' up there
All at once you're lighter than air
You can dance on the breeze
Over 'ouses and trees
With your first 'olding tight
To the string of your kite

Oh, oh, oh!
Let's go fly a kiteI started With
Up to the highest height!
Let's go fly a kite and send it soaring
Up through the atmosphere
Up where the air is clear
Let's go fly a kite!

then put the song through many layers of languages (sorry about the italics i just noticed and will fix them now)

I started with English...
     Engilsh
     Chinese
     French
     German
     Italian
     Spanish
     Swahili
     English
then i got my final results...
With two pence paper chains
You can have your own set of wings
With your feet on the ground
His plane in flight
Using your fist
By kite string

Oh, oh, oh!
Come fly a kite
Maximum length!
Come fly a kite and send it increased
And conditions
Up where the air is clean,
Oh, go fly a kite!

If you fly to send
Suddenly, it's lighter than air
You can dance in the wind
In mouses and trees
His first 'olding tight
By kite string

Oh, oh, oh!
Come fly a kite
Maximum length!
Come fly a kite and send it increased
And conditions
Up where the air is clean,

Come fly a kite!

My favorite part is the mouse part which makes no sense at all :)
have a nice week and enjoy what you have left of spring break :)

I think I should be on the soap panel because my mom and I want to try new things. We both love to soap and deciding on fragrances would be awesome! I hope you consider us to be S.O.A.P. panel members since I have been dreaming about being one ever since i got into soaping

(yes, I am participating in the Winter Soap Swap)

DIscovering Cold Process Soap

Hi,
I have to admit that i am VERY curious. Sometimes, my curiosity gets the best of me. In this case, cold process soap.
last year i had discovered Soap Queen and later Bramble Berry. I instantly fell in live with cold process. So when i had the chance to do it for my science fair (keep in mind my science fair is like 5 months away) i took grasp of it and dove right in. I made a 3 layer 4.5 pound soap log with green oxide, merlot mica, and titanium dioxide. I used brambleberry's woodland elves fragrance oil as my fragrance.
To start i invited my grandpa over and the tree of us got suited up. we were all freaking out about the lye but once that was done i felt a little better. we mixed our oils and mixed them together to meet trace. then, i added in the fragrance oil. heres where things went down hill. it seized. it wasnt so bad as the result soap was still ok but next time i will choose a frgrance oil that i know dosent affect trace

Stamps in bath bombs!

Using the basic principal as before I will show you another fun tutorial!
Prep your mold as before. Then I'm a large mixing bowl combine 1 part citric acid and 2parts baking soda. Using a gloved hand mix together until they are well combined! Next add fragrance and color and mix it up! Try to stay away from food coloring. You don't want to turn yourself pink! Add witch hazel into your mixture until you can squeeze it and it holds its shape! Now, pack it into your mold and let it set up! Remove from mold and remove stamp and you are done!
